My Singing Monsters Review
My Singing Monsters Review
From the title, you may be forgiven for thinking My Singing Monsters was obviously a beat based rhythm/dexterity title. You may then be amazed to find out that it's a park builder like Dragonvale. It's your job to get or breed monsters and you guessed it... they sing. My Singing Monsters Cheats unlimited diamonds
Gameplay within my Singing Monsters is extremely just like Dragonvale, you will have to get your first few monster eggs and hatch them, then it is an activity of breeding different combinations to create new monsters and giving them to make them earn more. It's by no means a clone though, there are several major differences. Firstly, your monsters don't need specialized habitats, you can place them anywhere on your island, instead, monsters occupy bed space in your castle, want more bed space, change your castle. Some monsters take up more bed space than the others.
Plenty of attention has been put in the graphics here, there's lots of detail not just around the monsters, but the decorations, the setting and also the play field. An excellent little addition may be the island is apparently on top of a gigantic monsters head. Every monster is different and well presented and the menus are evident and incredibly easy to understand. Everything seems like it belongs.
As good as the visuals are though, My Singing Monsters is about the sound. Every monster makes a unique sound, on it's own, quite annoying but when combined with all of the others produces a complex melody. The tune that's made by all these apparently random noises is nearly hypnotizing, I found myself staring into space a couple of times while in another bet on this style I might have previously closed the app and managed to move on. Finding a new monster is a lot more exciting since you can't wait to determine the way it suits the tune, and like other games of the type, some monsters can be rare and extremely difficult to breed.
As an added bonus, whenever you get your second island you'll notice happened have only use of new monsters, each island features its own specific tune. There are some monsters that appear on multiple islands but each setting also offers monsters unique to that world. Monsters that appear in different islands can make new noises too, so placing them again gains back it's mystery. Currently there are 3 islands but more take presctiption the way. As an extra you can buy a complete song version of each island about the iTunes store, not something I'd go for but might represent interest with a gamers.
There is lots to do on my small Singing Monsters, it will need a considerable amount of time to buy everything, keep monsters happy and acquire every one of the islands and monsters. Stability of the app is nice, as soon as you open it, it generally stays open however were built with a lot of trouble sometimes connecting with the server on startup. Occasionally I had been struggling to open the app for entire days and I hope that gets sorted out soon as I can imagine many gamers do not possess the patience for such huge delays to get with their park. It's this kind of shame as otherwise it is a fantastic title. My Singing Monsters Cheats unlimited diamonds
I seriously love playing My Singing Monsters, gameplay is varied and relaxed, graphics are detailed and interesting and the sound is put together inside a clever and artistic way. 4 stars from me, even though the connection issue can be a deal breaker for some gamers and then for that alone i used to be tempted to rate lower, I'm only hoping its addressed over the following update.
